Sure, we all know about the shawl and the top hat when it comes to looking like Queen Stevie, but we can’t forget the other part about the magic of how she dresses.
I don’t think it’s a super well kept secret that Stevie Nicks is one of my style icons, and one of my favorite artists in music (along with Fleetwood Mac).
It’s an honor to try and capture her essence, which is exactly what I tried to do recently.
You see, I don’t have a black shawl or top hat at home – although, I am considering purchasing them. Because I didn’t have these items, I decided to put an original spin on a classic Steve-like look. I focused on capturing her essence.
When we think Stevie Nicks, we think artist, mysterious vibes, witchy-like clothing, usually in black, and a true original when it comes to her own style.
I thought that I would capture those same elements with a Killstar duster ($60 – unfortunately sold out right now) and some Target accessories (the hat and leggings, both of which were under $20).
You see!? You don’t always need a shawl and top hat to be like Stevie. In fact, I’m pretty sure she’d want you to put your own spin on her look anyway.
What do you think of this look?
